Sara Angela is a filmmaker currently based in

New York City.

 

A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts at the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television with a focus on cinematography. Sara has written and directed narrative and documentary shorts. Her newest short "Girl Without Nature" is a narrative story that explores magical realism and spirituality through

self-reflection. 

 

Sara uses her background growing up in southern California to incorporate natural elements inspired by the Pacific Ocean in her work. The work also focuses on incorporating analog film and she has been working with Super 8mm film for the past 3 years.
